These Pre-Joining Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the onboarding process for tutors joining our platform for offering home tutoring services or private home tutor services. By signing up as a tutor on Tutorwala.in, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility Criteria

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register as a tutor.
• You must hold the necessary qualifications, certifications, and skills for the subjects you wish to teach.
• You must have valid identification and address proof, and any additional documents requested by Tutorwala.in.
• You must not have any criminal background or ongoing legal issues related to your professional conduct.

2. Application Process

• You are required to submit accurate and truthful information during the application process, including personal details, qualifications, experience, and a government-issued ID.
• Tutorwala.in reserves the right to verify the information provided and may request additional documentation for verification purposes.
• All applications will be subject to approval based on the criteria set by Tutorwala.in, and we reserve the right to reject any application without providing any reasons.

3. Profile Creation and Management

• Upon approval, you will create and manage your tutor profile on Tutorwala.in. Your profile should accurately reflect your qualifications, skills, and expertise.
• You must keep your profile up to date, ensuring that your availability, contact details, and credentials are correct.
• Tutorwala.in reserves the right to edit, approve, or reject any content submitted by tutors for profile creation if it does not meet platform standards or is misleading.

4. Services Offered

• As a tutor, you may offer private home tutoring services in subjects you are qualified and experienced in.
• You are responsible for the delivery of quality tutoring services as per the agreed-upon terms with the students or parents.
• Tutorwala.in does not guarantee the number of students you will receive, and tutors are expected to independently manage their schedule and teaching methods.

5. Payments and Commission

• Tutorwala.in may facilitate payments between students and tutors, but is not responsible for any payment disputes.
• Tutorwala will charge a 50% commission on the total tuition fees collected by the tutor for the first months of tutoring services.
• This commission will be deducted from the total fees payable to the tutor.
• You are responsible for collecting payment from students for your tutoring services.

6. Code of Conduct

• Tutors must maintain a professional, ethical, and respectful approach when interacting with students, parents, and other tutors.
• Tutors are expected to follow best teaching practices and to avoid any actions that could harm the reputation of Tutorwala.in or cause distress to students and families.
• Tutors must avoid any form of discrimination, harassment, or unethical behavior while conducting lessons.

7. Confidentiality

• Tutors must keep all student-related information, including personal details, academic performance, and any shared information, confidential and secure.
• Tutors should not share any sensitive information with external parties without the student's or parents' prior consent.

8. Termination of Agreement

• Tutorwala.in reserves the right to terminate your profile or access to the platform at any time if you violate these Pre-Joining Terms and Conditions, engage in unethical behavior, or fail to meet the platform’s standards.
• You may choose to terminate your account at any time, but any pending payments or obligations will still apply.

9. Dispute Resolution

• Tutorwala.in is not liable for any personal conflicts or disputes between tutors and students or parents.

10. Liability and Indemnity

• Tutorwala.in is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses that may occur during tutoring sessions conducted at student locations.

11. Amendments

• Tutorwala.in reserves the right to modify or amend these Pre-Joining Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you through the platform, and your continued participation as a tutor will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Independent Contractor

• You understand and agree that you are an independent contractor and not an employee of Tutorwala.in. You are responsible for all taxes and social security contributions associated with your earnings on the Platform.

13 . Free Demo Classes

• Tutors are required to provide two free demo classes to potential students.
• These demo classes should be of sufficient duration to allow the student to assess the tutor's suitability.

14.  Public Visibility

• Your profile photo and other publicly visible information may be accessible to all users of the platform.
